My Kaiser Chief wins Thirsk 6f Maiden by 2 lengths. MKC was held up and after struggling to find a gap he came through to win by 2 lengths under Andrew Mullen. This was the first winner for the recently formed Camela Racing Ltd and we look forward to more in the future. Guto finished 2nd in the prior race on the card which was a 5f handicap.
8th February 2008
Guto wins at Southwell to give us our 2nd winner within 24 hours and a great start to the year. He was ridden by Kelly Harrison and made all over 5f.
This confirms we have started 2008 the way we finished 2007. As of today from our last 20 runners we have had four winners, two 2nds and two 3rds.
7th February 2008
Bel Cantor follows up on his 2nd 10 days ago by going one better and winning the 6f Apprentice Handicap at Wolverhampton under Kelly Harrison. He made all to win by a length.
Having gone close on the All Weather a number of times we are so pleased he finally got the win to go with his five turf victorys so far.
5th Feb 2008
Style Award wins at The Class 4 5f Lingfield under Richard Hughes. This tough filly ran her first race on an All Weather surface and after a 4 month Winter break but she won impressively by 3 lenghths. This takes her tally to 4 wins from 13 runs and she has only been out of the first 4 once. This also continues the yards run of winners and we are looking forward to the start of the Turf Season.
28th January 2008
First runner of 2008 finishes 2nd at Wolvehampton. Bel Cantor ran well to finish 2nd over 7f under 5lb claimer Kelly Harrison. He ran really well after a break but just got caught close home.

Welcome
to bolton hall Racing Stables

We moved to Bolton Hall in June 2006 after setting up in training in a
small starter yard in Lambourn. Bolton Hall Racing Stables is an historic
yard set on the 14,000 acre Bolton Hall Estate. Bolton Hall Stud was a
real founding breeder in the establishment of the racing thoroughbred
as we know it today and 2 classic winners were trained from Bolton Hall
Stud. The yard is next to Bolton Hall which is the stunning family home
of Lord and Lady Bolton. The yard itself is the former coach yard and
has retained many of its traditional features which really add to the
atmosphere and character. The boxes are large traditional boxes with the
front stable block looking out to the main Hall and across to Middleham
Moor. The yard is approached along the main drive past the gathouses and
lodges and then finally past the main Hall and around into the yard.
We have a great combination of traditional and modern facilities and have
further improvements planned, please visit the 'facilities' section. We
also have great facilities on the estate for owners and visitors with
a lodge which is now a traditional B&B and is situated off the main
drive 50 mtrs from the start of the All Weather gallop. Castle Bolton
is also on the estate and has banqueting chambers which can be hired for
corporate events, weddings and parties. You can visit the Castle Bolton
website from our 'Links' section. We have over 15 acres of paddocks, private
grass and all weather gallops, new horsewalker, horsebox, many forest
rides and jumping lanes. This is all set in stunning surroundings of a
traditional country estate in the beautiful tourist area of Wensleydale.

We are ambitious and have the facilities and the plans to get results. We all want results but we also want to enjoy our racing and we offer our owners the opportunity to be part of something special here at Bolton Hall Racing Stables. Please call or email and we would be happy to arrange a tour for any prospective owners.

Bel Cantor winning by 5 lengths at Nottingham on 18th October 2006. Bel Cantor won at odds of 40/1 this day and returned to Nottingham 7 days later as 3/1 favourite and won again by 2 Lengths. This was his third win of the season. He is a tough, genuine and consistent horse just like his sire Largesse. This was his 3rd win of the 2006 season. In 2007 he added two further wins at Pontefract and Catterick. The win at Pontefract was a powerful front running performance to win a competitive Class3 6f sprint. Catterick was his first win over 7f and having been headed in the straight he dug deep and won impressively. Andrew Mullen gave him two great rides. He may have one or two runs on the All Weather early 2008 and then he will be ready for the start of the turf season where he should get his ground.
