A good day today with the yearlings having their first hack canters up Hamilton Hill polytrack. Sarah and Pat have done a good job with them and everything went to plan despite the gusty weather.

Bel Cantor declared for Saturday at Wolverhampton and got a decent draw in 4 so he should have a good chance of following up on his Southwell win last week. He is in good form anyway and is ready to run again.

Jethro Bodine who won at Redcar early in the season had a niggling injury but he seems fine now and is not far off being ready to get back on track.
