This tough filly ran her first race on an All Weather surface and after a 4 month Winter break but she won impressively by 3 lenghths. This takes her tally to 4 wins from 13 runs and she has only been out of the first 4 once. This also continues the yards run of winners and we are looking forward to the start of the Turf Season.

Promising Race for Eton Fable
Eton Fable ran a promising race over a mile at Newcastle on 3rd October. On only his third run he showed some inexperience however he ran on strongly at the finish to get fourth place. He is a fine big horse and will get better with time. By Val Royal and out of a Linamix mare he looks to have plenty of stamina and was doing his best work at the end. Eton Fable was our 3rd 2yo to pick up prize money from only four 2yo runners.
31st October 2007
Bel Cantor picked up the 5th win of his career and 4th in just over a year when he won at Catterick over 7f. He battled well having been headed entering the straight to get back up and win well. Andrew Mullen gave him a great ride and was given Apprentice ride of the week in the Racing Post.
A New Horse at Bolton Hall
A new horse into the yard called Guto ran a good race over 5f at Redcar on Saturday 6th October. He finished 4th but showed good speed and was in a three way photo for the minor places. The ground had dried out and was not ideal for him but a good run nevertheless.
Style Award Rarely out of the Prize Money
Style Award has been running some consistent races and is rarely out of the prize money. Since her win at beverley she finished 2nd at Thirsk in a class 3 Nursery and has also finished 4th at Warwick and Chester.
Bel Cantor
Bel Cantor ran into form when finishing 2nd twice at Leicester and inbetween winning a competitive handicap at Pontefract. The 4yo colt finished 2nd at Leicester over 6f in an Apprentice Handicap on 19th July. He then went to Pontefract on 29th July where he produced a great front running performance to win the Class 3 Handicap by 2 lengths under Andrew Mullen beating the talented Genki into second place. He then went back to Leicester 3 days later under a 6lb penalty and was just denied a follow up win in a photo finish however he ran a gutsy race under a heavy burden and ground which had dried out. Bel then went to The Doncaster St Leger Festival where he ran another tough race finishing 3rd of 20 in the Class 3 6f Handicap. What a great horse to have in the yard, he is so consistent.
My Kaiser Chief
This 2yo colt ran two good races in August both in 5f maidens at Thirsk. He finished 4th in both races behind some nice horses that have gone on to frank the form. He was 4th behind winner Hadaf on August 4th and then 4th behind Sophies Girl on August 13th. He is a nice colt and we hope he will run again before the end of the turf season.
Bolton Hall Partnership gets off to a promising Start
Style Award started our first Bolton Hall Partnership off in style when finishing 3rd at odds of 66/1 at Catterick on the 8th May. This daughter of Acclamation showed real promise on her racecourse debut and although she ran green she still managed a good third and learned a lot from the experience. We think highly of her and the owners are looking forward to having some more good days racing with her in the future.
Bel Cantor Finishes 3rd at
at Catterick over 6f on Friday 1st June. Bel ran really well and was only beaten 2 lengths which considering he had the worst draw and was giving weight to the first and second horses it was a great run. She won the 2yo Class 4 Novice Stakes over 5f showing her toughness by coming through to win well in the final furlong in very testing conditions. Little Nipper then just failed to pull off the double in the second race when fininshing second in the 7f+ seller. He stayed on well and enjoyed the ground.
