Then in the next race on the card Eton Fable also made all from the widest draw to win the 1m maiden under Jamie Moriarty. Bel Cantor won at 14/1 and Eton Fable won at 14/1. This confirms we have started 2008 the way we finished 2007. As of today from our last 20 runners we have had four winners, two 2nds and two 3rds.

Bel Cantor follows up on his 2nd 10 days ago by going one better and winning the 6f Apprentice Handicap at Wolverhampton under Kelly Harrison. He made all to win by a length.
Having gone close on the All Weather a number of times we are so pleased he finally got the win to go with his five turf victorys so far.

Style Award wins at The Class 4 5f Lingfield under Richard Hughes. This tough filly ran her first race on an All Weather surface and after a 4 month Winter break but she won impressively by 3 lenghths. This takes her tally to 4 wins from 13 runs and she has only been out of the first 4 once. This also continues the yards run of winners and we are looking forward to the start of the Turf Season.

Ownership
This is probably better covered with an informal chat so please give me
call and we can talk through the options. We can also arrange a stable
visit should you wish. In summary there are many ways to get into ownership
and I will always do my best to welcome new owners to the yard. We can
arrange the leases of horses, purchases of horses, syndicates and partnerships
of various sizes as well as sole ownership. I can be very flexible to
accommodate all budgets so everyone can get involved and enjoy ownership
at Bolton Hall Racing Stables.

Overall Costs
An overview of costs is detailed in this section. All
training fees will be laid out in a training agreement between the owner
and trainer. These agreements are approved by both the Racehorse owners
association and the National Trainers Federation. Invoices will be raised
monthly in arrears.
Training Fees
Our training fees are very competetive, please call Bill to talk about
this. We are flexible and want to welcome new owners to Bolton Hall Racing
Stables. At present owners can register for VAT and provided they can
show they have generated business income they can reclaim that part (17.5
percent). If you require further information on the sponsorship scheme
please contact me. The training fees include your gallop fees.
Gallops
There is no extra charge for gallop fees as they are already included in your daily training fee
Farrier, Vets, Supplements, Equine Therapy and Transport are other additional costs. We really focus on managing the costs and making your expenses as economical as possible, for example, we have our own Horsebox and can offer owners a much lower price than external transport companies. We communicate closely with our owners and really aim to give you value for money so you can really enjoy your racing.
Farrier
Our farriers priority is the horses wellbeing however he also works to keep farrier costs down to a minimum.

Vets/Dentist
This will include annual vaccinations and dental check ups and any injuries
or ailments that require veterinary attention. This may also include getting
horses blood tested or having them scoped but this would be agreed with
the owner beforehand.
Supplements - We monitor all our horses health and diets and in some circumstances
it may be necessary to give specific supplements to a horse for a period
of time. Again this would be agreed with the owner beforehand.
Equine Therapy
We have access to a number of therapies, for example, equine Swimming pool, massage and chiropractors. In certain circumstances this may be of benefit. Again this would be agreed with the owner beforehand.
Transport
We have invested in our own new horsebox and more details can be found in the 'Facilities' section on this site. The main advantage to owners in relation to costs is that because we have our own transport we can make sure owners are charged less than using external transport companies. This also reduces the risk of horses contracting viruses from horses from other yards.
